ISQ&CTAG is a Portuguese company created in 2020 as a result of a collaboration between the Portuguese Institute of Welding and Quality (ISQ) and the Galicia Automotive Technology Centre (CTAG) in Spain, to serve the automotive sector, mainly in Testing and Process Engineering activities.
To carry out validation and reliability tests on automotive components and subsystems in accordance with national and international standards, as well as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, ISQ&CTAG has laboratories dedicated to five areas: Environment, Corrosion and Ingress Protection (IP), Physicochemical and Materials, Battery Cells and Modules, and Optics. It is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory by the Portuguese Accreditation Institute.
It also offers process engineering services, providing the automotive industry with the latest innovations and technologies.
ISQ&CTAG will test and validate the components/prototypes produced from the new bio-based polymers synthesized for automotive applications. The testing will consider their specifications and functionality, whether they are to be used as structural, functional or aesthetic components.
