CARE4BIO information session about CBE JU | 05.02.2025

March 6, 2025

On 5 February 2025, the POLYMERS-5B project was presented at the CARE4BIO Info Day, an event organized by CARE4BIO. CARE4BIO, the National Contact Point (NCP) network for Cluster 6 – Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment – supports researchers and stakeholders in all aspects of proposal preparation.

During the session, NSBproject, Dissemination and Exploitation leader of POLYMERS-5B, together with the scientific coordinator IST-ID / IBB, presented the key features of the project, its objectives, and the societal and environmental benefits it aims to achieve. Additionally, they provided insights into the innovative technologies developed within the project. The discussion also focused on essential strategies for building a strong consortium and preparing a successful proposal, drawing from the experience of POLYMERS-5B.

The event also provided an overview of the funding opportunities offered by the CBE JU Work Programme 2025, which dedicates €165 million to circular bio-based industries. Participants gained key knowledge on how to effectively position their projects for the upcoming Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) 2025 calls.
