Connecting R&D with new stakeholders at BIC MME 2026 | 10-11.02.2026
On 10–11 February, NSBproject participated in the BIC Matchmaking Event in Brussels, organized by the Bio-based Industries Consortium. The event brought together key players from across the bio-based sector, fostering collaboration and paving the way for future innovation partnerships.
As Dissemination and Exploitation Lead for the POLYMERS-5B project, Riccardo Varotto presented an A1 poster highlighting the project’s progress and its strong potential to bridge the gap between lab-scale research and industrial application. The showcased results attracted interest from a wide range of stakeholders, underlining the relevance of POLYMERS-5B innovations for the evolving bio-based market.
The participation in this matchmaking event also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with leading voices in the sector, including Dirk Carrez, and to explore synergies for future collaborations.
POLYMERS-5B is now actively seeking new partners and stakeholders to support the upscaling and commercialization of its results. In view of the upcoming 2026 Innovation Actions (IA) calls, the project is particularly interested in engaging with consortia working on bio-based materials, circular economy solutions, and sustainable industrial processes.
If you are preparing a proposal and looking to strengthen your consortium with expertise in dissemination, exploitation, and innovative polymer solutions, we would be glad to connect.
Our A1 poster is available here, and we are open to discussing how POLYMERS-5B can contribute to your project.
We look forward to connecting with new stakeholders in the bio-based industries… whether you are interested in our research outcomes or in exploring their commercial applications, our door is open.
