POLYMERS-5B at Horizons of Innovation Forum 2025 in Novi Sad | 02.12.2025

On 2 December 2025, Branka Pilic from the Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad, represented the POLYMERS-5B project at the Horizons of Innovation Forum 2025, held at the Novi Sad Science & Technology Park. The forum gathered 324 participants from 22 countries, including researchers, innovators, institutional representatives, companies, investment funds, and international networks.

Branka had the opportunity to present POLYMERS-5B, sharing the project’s goals, innovations, and methodology with an international audience of experts and stakeholders. The day was marked by inspiring discussions, collaborative exchanges, and forward-thinking ideas, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties between science, industry, and the regional innovation ecosystem.

The forum featured a full day of activities, including matchmaking sessions, where 190 meetings between academia and industry were initiated, highlighting the event’s role as a catalyst for new partnerships and project initiatives with global potential. The Horizons of Innovation Forum is organized by MOZAIK Hub, in partnership with the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), and the FINNO Network, with support from 27 co-organizers across Serbia, the Western Balkans, and the EU.

Branka Pilic described the experience as an inspiring day of innovation and collaboration, reflecting on the value of international cooperation and knowledge exchange for advancing sustainable and innovative solutions in polymer research and technology.

Next year, the Horizons of Innovation Forum will take place in Banja Luka, continuing its mission to rotate among regional countries and strengthen collaboration between research, innovation, and industry.
